1) With needle nose pliers, insert nose into slots on both
sides of antenna nut and loosen. *NOTE - use caution, if you slip, you scratch the car. |
||
1) Remove antenna nut. In some cases this nut may not be remove because the antenna mast has a bend or kink. | ||
1) Turn car stereo on and remove antenna mast. Turn off ignition. | ||
1) Measure length of mast and cable, new against old. They
should match lengths exactly. (If mast and cable do not match in length, you will have to remove antenna motor for disassembled removal of nylon cable |
||
1) Insert new nylon cable from
antenna into motor. 2) Turn car stereo off. |
||
1) Feed mast into motor. | ||
1) Install antenna nut and
